Allow me to introduce myself…
Wow…what can I say about who I am. Some know me as a great motivational speaker. Others know me as a fitness expert. But there’s so much more to me than this fitness thing.
The funny thing is that I got into the fitness industry out of love for the people around me.
It started when my grandmother died of heart disease when I was 19 years old. See, we didn’t know that she was having small heart attacks every so often, as a matter of fact neither did she. She thought it was heart burn. Then one fateful day one was too much for her heart to take and she slipped away.
That moment was pivotal for me and it ignited a new passion for life.
I started learning everything I could about health and fitness. I decided to help as many people as I could to learn about taking better care of their selves not just to look good, but to be around to enjoy life.
As I look back on all of the memories of have of my grandmother, I remember just how much I loved her. I wish she were still here so I could hug her again. But I dedicate everything that I do in her honor. Because of her, many people will learn from me what it is to really live.
So what is important to you?

Is it solely because you want to look good or is it because you want to be able to run with your kids in the park?
Maybe it’s because you want to be healthy. At the end of the day it all comes down to a better quality of life doesn’t it?

I am 15 lbs overweight and trying despaerately to lose it. I have been in a management position as a RN and have been working 60 hours a week. This is where most of the trouble began. I need to get a handle on it now. I have recently been diagnosed with high cholesterol and have heart disease in my family. I am 5’4 anf=d weigh 140-145lbs. i am most comfortable at 135.
